Job summary

Alpine School District in Utah is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and assist in implementing IEP goals for students with special needs in the resource setting. The role involves supervising students, assisting with lessons, and providing clerical support to teachers.

Hours are 6.25 per day, four days a week (no Wednesdays) with an hourly rate in Lane 5–6 depending on training. This is a non-contract position with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete mandatory employee training within the first 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Adapt activities and materials to support IEP goals.
• Supervise students and maintain a safe classroom environment.
• Assist with instruction and completing assignments.
• Monitor student behavior and document incidents.
• Provide clerical support to teachers and staff.
• Escort and supervise students between classes.
