Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies is seeking a seasoned engineer with pre-sales experience in the DC area. You will work with the sales team to understand customer needs, demonstrate our security portfolio, and educate customers on challenges and solutions.

The role involves leading Proof-of-Concepts, responding to RFIs/RFPs, and engaging partners at security events. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering and pre-sales, strong analytics, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customers networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications highly preferred (CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE).

Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team to identify prospects and demonstrate Check Point solutions.
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners on security challenges and how Check Point can solve them.
• Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify their problems and provide solutions.
• Address technical questions and manage Proof-of-Concepts, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Engage and educate partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Participate in cybersecurity events.
