Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Architect – Platforms to be a customer-facing cloud and platform expert. You will lead pre-sales conversations, define technical strategy, and drive opportunities across on-premises and hybrid environments.

This remote role may require reporting to Austin, TX; travel up to 20%. The ideal candidate has deep cloud-native platform experience, DevOps practices, and strong communication to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in a technical role.
3+ years of experience in a presales Solution Architect role.
Travel to client locations required up to 20% for meetings and engagements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with CIOs, CTOs, Platform Engineering, SRE, and developers to strengthen customer relationships and understand goals.
Lead customer technical conversations, presales engagement, and own the technical strategy through the sales cycle.
Design and sell platform and hybrid cloud solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments.
Understand SHI’s services offerings through training and self-study.
Educate sales teams on container, automation, and hybrid cloud solution selling.
Stay current on technology trends and market landscape.
Engage in lab work to increase knowledge for job-related skills.
Develop collateral, workshops, and materials for sales engagements.
Develop lab-based cases to support sales engagements.
