Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across nationwide customers, focusing on public safety networks, devices, and integrated command systems.

You will collaborate with the Sales Team, define requirements, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions while ensuring timely delivery and quality. Travel up to 25% and Northeast-based candidates are preferred for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience
• Strong communication skills to present to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Work with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions across public safety and enterprise customers nationwide.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for customers including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contract obligations.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product availability, with any required modifications in coordination with the product group.
• Collaborate with operations and other developers of networking products to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
