Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects for public safety and enterprise customers across the country.

You will work closely with the Sales Team, define project directions, and provide engineering services from commissioning to testing, ensuring bids meet customer needs and product constraints. Travel up to 25% is possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in sales, sales engineering, or public safety.
• OR 8+ years in sales, sales engineering, or public safety.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications and the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to think out of the box and deliver results.
• Strong knowledge of wireless fundamentals and voice/data architectures (APCO P25, LTE, 802.11, 3G/4G).
• Knowledge of IP networking and security is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of solutions.
• Provide engineering services including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment.
• Prepare system bids aligned with customer needs and product capabilities.
• Coordinate with operations and other developers to meet delivery deadlines.
