Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and oversee the implementation of complex projects across public safety networks, devices, and integrated command and control systems. You will work with the Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for government, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers nationwide.

The role requires 4+ years of sales or sales engineering in public safety (or 8+ years), strong communication, and the ability to build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, end-to-end solutions across the country.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contracts.
• Preparation of system bids, considering customer needs and equipment availability.
• Coordinate with operations and product groups to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
