Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects for public safety and enterprise customers nationwide.

You will work with the Sales Team to define scope, deliver end-to-end solutions, and ensure successful engagements from definition through close. The role requires 4+ years in sales, sales engineering or public safety (or 8+ years), and Land Mobile Radio knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, or public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, or public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for customers nationwide.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality.
• Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment.
• Prepare system bids aligned with customer needs and product capabilities.
• Coordinate with operations and internal/external developers to meet delivery deadlines.
