Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects for public safety and enterprise customers nationwide. You will work with the Sales Team to define scope, deliver end-to-end solutions, and ensure technical success across multiple platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years in sales, sales engineering, or public safety (or 8+ years experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/sales engineering/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/sales engineering/public safety experience.
• Strong written and oral communications skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for public safety and enterprise customers nationwide.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contracts.
• Prepare system bids aligned with customer needs and product capabilities, noting modifications when needed.
• Coordinate with operations and other internal/external teams to meet delivery deadlines.
