Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presales opportunities and implement complex projects for our nationwide sales engagements. You will define scope, deliver end-to-end technical solutions, and coordinate with customers and the sales team to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires 4+ years in sales, sales engineering, or public safety, with Land Mobile Radio experience preferred. Expect up to 25% travel and work within a dynamic, safety‑critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer‑driven, world‑class end‑to‑end solutions across the country.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment in accordance with technical requirements and contract obligations.
• Preparation of system bids, taking into account the customer's needs and the equipment available, as well as any modifications required in conjunction with the product group.
• Work with operations and other internal/external developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
