Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to join the Sales Engineering Group, driving complex pre-sale opportunities and implementations for critical public safety projects. You’ll collaborate with the Sales Team to define scope, craft technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery across nationwide customers.

The role requires 4+ years in sales, sales engineering or public safety, with LMR experience preferred and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, end-to-end solutions across nationwide customers.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contract obligations.
• Preparation of system bids, accounting for customer needs and available equipment, with any necessary product-group modifications.
• Collaborate with operations and other developers of networking products to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
