Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across national customers in public safety and enterprise sectors.

You will define requirements, deliver end-to-end technical solutions, and work with sales to prepare bids, testing, and commissioning of Motorola equipment. The role requires 4+ years in sales/sales engineering in public safety, with strong communication and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions for a range of first responder, government, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements, documentation and contracts.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and equipment availability and coordinate with product groups for modifications.
• Collaborate with operations and other developers of networking products to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
