Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects nationwide. You will coordinate scope, define requirements, and deliver end-to-end solutions for public safety and enterprise customers.

The role emphasizes engagement with sales teams, system integration, and commissioning of Motorola equipment, with focus on RF, LTE, and IP networking. Central/Midwest preferred, travel up to 25% and a base salary range of $85k–$110k USD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• LMR experience highly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain complex topics.
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work cross-regionally.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, end-to-end solutions.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality.
• Provide engineering services including commissioning and testing of Motorola equipment.
• Prepare system bids aligned with customer needs and product availability.
• Collaborate with operations and other teams to meet delivery deadlines.
