Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects. The role covers critical communications technologies, including public safety networks, devices, and integrated command systems, with travel up to 25% across the country.

The position requires a strong background in sales engineering or public safety, plus the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, end-to-end solutions across the country.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements.
• Preparation of system bids considering customer needs and equipment availability.
• Collaborate with operations and other developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
