Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects for public safety and enterprise customers nationwide. You will collaborate with the Sales Team to define scope and ensure timely, high-quality technical solutions.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder relationship skills, and willingness to travel up to 25%. Northeast preferred; base salary range is $85,000–$110,000 USD with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Sales Team to deliver customer-driven, world-class, end-to-end solutions across government, utility, transportation, and enterprise customers nationwide.
• Defines directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of the technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services for Customers, including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contract obligations.
• Preparation of system bids considering customer needs and product availability, including modifications with the product group.
• Coordinate with operations and other developers of networking products to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
