Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and implement complex projects across public safety and enterprise sectors. You will work with sales to deliver end-to-end solutions, define requirements, and perform engineering services including commissioning and testing of Motorola equipment.

The role requires a Bachelor's with 4+ years in sales, sales engineering or public safety (or 8+ years experience).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience or 8+ years experience in lieu of degree
• Land Mobile Radio (LMR) experience highly preferred
• Strong written and oral communications skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to think out of the box and execute with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Team to deliver end-to-end, customer-driven solutions for first responder, government, utility, transportation and enterprise customers nationwide
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation and quality of technical solutions
• Provide engineering services including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment per requirements and contracts
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product availability, with necessary modifications
• Collaborate with operations and internal/external developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines
