Job summary

VALLEY VIG LLC is opening a new Paradise Valley location and is seeking energetic, hospitality-driven prep cooks to join the team. If you love great food, great drinks, and creating memorable guest experiences, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities include following prep lists, preparing bulk sauces and items, labeling and organizing prepped ingredients, receiving inventory, and maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace to set the line cooks up for success.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of being a prep cook, dishwasher, or other kitchen role in a full-service restaurant.
• Minimum age is 18.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, work in hot and wet environments, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow prep lists to chop, portion, and pre-assemble menu components.
• Prepare bulk sauces, dressings, soups, and tavern signature items.
• Label, date, and organize all prepped items using FIFO.
• Receive, inspect, and put away inventory deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace and prep equipment.
• Prepares bulk recipes, chops vegetables, portions proteins, and organizes incoming inventory to set the line cooks up for success.
