Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Prep Cook for Naples Grande Beach Resort on Florida's Paradise Coast. Join our culinary team and help prep and fabricate food for kitchen, banquets, and fine dining in a fast-paced, professional environment.

You will work with the culinary leadership to prep for shifts, read and recreate recipes, and maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen. Active food handler certification, physical stamina, and willingness to work varied day/night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Requires strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Have a desire to exceed expectations.
• An energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté and fry).
• Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes.
• Maintain consistency in all food preparation.
• Prepare cold items, salads, simple side items, and appetizers.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and meat.
• Assist by taking inventory to ensure proper par and stock levels.
• Mix and prepare cold sauces, glazes, jellies, dressings, and stuffings.
• Minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team.
• Create workstations with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
• Ensure all items are stored properly.
• Ensure the quality of ingredients.
