Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Prep Cook for Naples Grande Beach Resort on Florida's Paradise Coast. Join our culinary team and help prep and fabricate food for kitchen, banquets, and fine dining in a fast-paced, professional environment.

You will work with the culinary leadership to prep for shifts, read and recreate recipes, and maintain a clean, well-organized kitchen. Active food handler certification, physical stamina, and willingness to work varied day/night shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler's certification or the ability to get it.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté and fry).
• Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment.
• Read and recreate recipes.
• Maintain consistency in all food preparation.
• Prepare cold items, salads, simple side items, and appetizers.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and meat.
• Assist by taking inventory to ensure proper par and stock levels.
• Mix and prepare cold sauces, glazes, jellies, dressings, and stuffings.
• Minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team.
• Create workstations with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment.
• Ensure all items are stored properly.
• Ensure the quality of ingredients.

What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do

We are looking for someone, energetic and passionate about the culinary arts to join our Culinary team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen! Successful candidates for this role will have a desire to work in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong desire to learn, to develop skills and work with the culinary leadership team to prep and prep the kitchen for the shift ahead. The Prep Cook assists the culinary team in production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquets, dining room, and fine dining.
