Pyramid Global Hospitality's Naples Grande Beach Resort in Naples, FL is seeking a motivated Prep Cook to join its culinary team. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, learning from top culinarians while supporting daily prep for service and events.

Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, reading and recreating recipes, maintaining cleanliness, inventory, and minimizing waste. Applicants must be 21+, able to lift 50 lbs, and flexible to day/night and weekend shifts; food handler

Qualifications

• Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it.
• Must be willing to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Requires strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Have a desire to exceed expectations.
• An energetic personality.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge in cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fryer).
• Read and recreate recipes.
• Prepare salads, cold items, simple side items and more.
• Assist by taking inventory of ingredients and maintaining par levels.
• Mix and prepare sauces, glazes, dressings, and stuffing’s.
• Learn to minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team.
• Keep workstations stocked with ingredients and equipment.
• Maintain a sanitized, orderly kitchen and proper storage of items.
• Ensure the quality of ingredients.
