Job summary

Puttshack is seeking a Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients for high‑quality meals, set up the prep station, stock inventory, and maintain sanitation to Executive Chef standards.

Our venues operate from 11am–1am with flexible schedules; candidates must be reliable, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and contribute to a team focused on guest experience and food quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in a high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
• Prepare all ingredients according to portions and recipes
• Communicate inventory or quality issues to Culinary Leadership
• Ability to read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
