Job summary

Puttshack is seeking a Prep Cook to prepare ingredients for menu items and set up the prep station. You will stock inventory, maintain sanitation, and support the Executive Chef’s standards to ensure quality meals.

Our venues operate 7 days a week with flexible schedules; expect 15–30 hours weekly depending on needs. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, and associate discounts on mini golf and meals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels
• Prepare all ingredients according to portions and recipes
• Communicate inventory or quality issues to Culinary Leadership
• Ability to read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently
• Accurately account for all items coming out of a station
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures, including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player
• Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
• Other projects or duties as assigned, including but not limited to side-work, opening, and closing duties.
