Job summary

Puttshack is seeking a Prep Cook to join our Nashville venue. You will prepare ingredients, set up the prep station, stock inventory and maintain sanitation to meet the Executive Chef's exacting standards.

Our venues operate 7 days a week, typically 11am–1am, with schedules that may vary. This role offers competitive pay and a benefits package including health/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, life insurance, PTO and associate discounts on mini golf and meals.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Prior experience in high volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating kitchen tools and appliances such as knives, grills, etc.
• Ability to communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements safely and effectively.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each and every day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests needs.
• Follow all prescribed portioning controls and par levels.
• Prepare all ingredients according to portions and recipes.
• Communicate inventory or quality issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently.
• Account for all items coming out of a station.
• Follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
• Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines including MSDS.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Follow all rules, policies, and conditions of employment.
• Assist with side-work, opening and closing duties.
