Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a Prep Cook to join our growing kitchen team. You will support daily prep, portion meats and vegetables, and assist in delivering high-quality dishes across our dining venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of kitchen preparation and line cook experience.
• Ability to read and follow basic cooking directions.
• Strong teamwork and flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening and closing checklists; report equipment or product shortages to Chef.
• Prepares and portions a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment.
• Understands and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including all kitchen surfaces and equipment and adheres to sanitation regulations.
