Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is hiring a Prep Cook in Athens, GA to support our kitchen team. You will refer to the daily prep list, open and close checklists, and report any equipment or food quality issues to the Chef.

You will prepare and portion meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other items, follow standard portion sizes, maintain a clean workstation and adhere to all safety rules and regulations while supporting fellow staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen preparation and line cook activities.
• Ability to follow daily prep lists and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork and communication with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening/closing checklists; report issues to Chef.
• Prepares and portions meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other items for cooking.
• Adheres to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
