Qualifications

• Minimum of one year kitchen prep/line cook experience.
• Positive energy and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to read and understand basic cooking directions.
• Effective communication with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, lifting.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List for each shift and complete opening/closing checklists and report issues promptly to Chef.
• Prepares and portions a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and other food items for cooking.
• Understands and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules/policies/procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area and adheres to all cleanliness and sanitation regulations.
