Job summary

Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated guest experience. The Prep Cook position is responsible for preparing and producing all menu items.

In this position, your principal goal will be to prepare ingredients for high-quality meals that meet the Executive Chef's exacting standards and be responsible for setting up the prep station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age to apply.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant kitchen.
• Experience operating kitchen tools and appliances such as knives and grills.
• Ability to communicate and follow job requirements safely and effectively.
• Ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Bring your 'A' Game each day.
• Ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests' needs.
• Follow all portioning controls and par levels.
• Prepare ingredients according to portions and recipes.
• Communicate inventory or quality issues to Culinary Leadership.
• Read a thermometer and food tickets correctly and efficiently.
• Account for all items coming out of a station.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines and MSDS procedures.
• Take direction and be a team player.
• Other duties as assigned, including opening and closing duties.
