Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. in Bakersfield, CA is seeking a Preop Recovery Nurse to support patient care in a busy ambulatory surgical center.

You will assist with preoperative assessment and recovery, following physician orders and center policies to ensure safety and comfort. The ideal candidate holds an accredited nursing degree with an active RN license, current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and at least one year of perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification required.
• Minimum one year of pre-, intra-, and post-operative surgical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provision of nursing care in ambulatory surgical center setting.
• Assumes total responsibility for patient care per physician orders and center policies.
