Job summary

Hansel Ford of Napa is seeking a full-time Service Advisor to guide customers through their service experience from start to finish, in our Napa, CA dealership. You’ll serve as the trusted link between customers and our technicians, helping guests understand their vehicle needs while delivering an experience that feels supportive, informed, and efficient.

Qualifications

• Dealership service writing experience is required.
• Professional appearance and strong customer presence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to confidently recommend and sell service.
• Ford Service Advisor experience is a huge plus.
• California driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Able to pass a drug test and criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest with a smile and deliver a premium check-in experience.
• Write and manage repair orders with complete, accurate documentation.
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and ethically; gain approvals.
• Follow up on declined work to ensure safety and retention.
• Own the service lane flow: appointments, walk-ins, updates, and promise times.
• Coordinate with warranty providers and keep guests informed at every step.
