Job summary

Hansel Auto Group in Petaluma, CA is hiring a full-time Service Advisor for Hansel Toyota. You will guide customers through their service experience, acting as the link between guests and technicians while delivering a supportive, informed and efficient experience.

The role offers real earning potential with a transparent pay plan and a pay scale including base hourly compensation plus performance bonuses, with opportunities across service. Training and brand certifications are available.

Qualifications

• Dealership service writing experience is a plus.
• Strong customer presence and professional appearance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to confidently recommend and sell service.
• Valid California driver’s license with a clean record.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
• Must pass a drug test and a criminal background screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver a premium check-in experience.
• Write and manage repair orders with complete documentation.
• Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and ethically.
• Follow up on declined work to ensure safety and retention.
• Own the service lane flow: appointments, walk-ins, updates.
• Coordinate with warranty providers and keep guests informed.

Hansel Toyota is looking a full-time Service Advisor to join our team!!

As a Service Advisor, you’ll play a key role in guiding customers through their service experience from start to finish. You’ll serve as the trusted link between customers and our technicians, helping guests understand their vehicle needs while delivering an experience that feels supportive, informed, and efficient.

Pay Range
Depending on job performance, the Service Advisor compensation ranges from $38,500.00to$160,000 +.

Pay Defined: The Service Advisor position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.31, plus performance bonuses. The performance bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
