Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Experience with Volkswagen vehicles or German brands is a plus.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient with dealership management systems (DMS) and related software.
• Ability to accurately estimate repair times and costs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Commitment to outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously.
• Document vehicle issues and service requests accurately.
• Perform walk-arounds with customers to identify additional needs.
• Prepare repair orders with estimated costs and completion times.
• Communicate vehicle diagnosis, repair status, and pricing clearly.
• Obtain customer approval for all recommended services.
• Coordinate with service technicians for timely completion.
• Monitor repair progress and provide updates.
• Explain repairs and charges clearly.
• Process customer payments and paperwork.
• Maintain product knowledge on VW vehicles, services, accessories.
• Handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Promote additional services, parts, accessories as appropriate.
• Maintain clean service drive and office area.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
