Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group in Martinez, GA is seeking a Volkswagen Service Advisor to manage the flow in the drive lane, greet customers, and coordinate service with technicians to ensure prompt, courteous, and professional results.

The successful candidate will own the customer experience, document services and recommendations, keep customers informed of times and costs, and build strong relationships while meeting dealership standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of successful experience in a dealership or other customer service position.
• Organized and friendly personality.
• Time management skills.
• Excellent communication with customers.
• Professional, well-groomed appearance.
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
• Ensures that the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently
• Greet customers and assist them with any inquiries.
• Consult with customer on service needs, recommendations, and applicable service specials
• Document services recommended and/or declined and ask for follow up on future service considerations
• Keep customer informed on completion times, service expenses, and possible changesRemain involved with delivery of vehicle to customer upon completion to assure all customer concerns are addressed
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether by phone or in person, to assure the customer has a positive service experience
