Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Prior housekeeping, caretaking or janitorial experience preferred.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Capable of performing the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work nights and weekends, overtime, on-call, and month turns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and orderly lobbies, office areas, elevators, entryways and hallways.
• Assist with leasing duties including conducting tours and paperwork.
• Assist with property marketing and advertising needs.
• Assist with lease renewals, inspections and resident communication.
• Maintain laundry and storage rooms in pristine condition.
• Replace light bulbs in common areas as needed.
• Clean vacant apartments and prepare them for new residents.
• Keep areas around dumpsters and sidewalks clean; shovel snow and add salt in winter.
• Perform repairs to improve property quality.
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory.
• Report resident or safety issues to supervisor.
• Complete service requests and timesheets accurately.
• Wear uniforms when required.
• Engage positively with residents to maintain satisfaction.
