Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the exterior and interior of our community and support our residents. The role focuses on completing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks to uphold curb appeal and safety

Typical shift is Monday through Friday from 12pm to 4pm, requiring reliable availability for on-call needs and potential weekend coverage as needed. Experience in general maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• One or more years of prior experience in general maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Ability to attend and pass company paid certification courses (e.g., pool operators, boiler license, EPA certification).

Responsibilities

• Maintain apartment interiors and common areas to meet company standards.
• Complete and document maintenance requests and report status.
• Perform repairs, painting, cleaning and preventative tasks as directed.
• Assist with appliance, fixture and plumbing repairs; replace or repair as needed.
• Perform grounds and common area upkeep including snow removal as required.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and communicate hazards to supervisors.
