Job summary

The Goodman Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations at a multi-family community. You will serve as the liaison between management, site staff, and residents when the Property Manager is unavailable, ensuring smooth, resident-focused service.

You will assist in occupancy goals, vendor coordination, and community events while maintaining safety and Fair Housing compliance. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to meet residents, applicants, and vendors’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager to meet occupancy goals and implement marketing strategies to secure residents.
• Maintain vendor/contractor communications, scheduling, billing, and timely invoice processing.
• Assist with resident concerns and requests.
• Assist with the payment collection process and monitor delinquency standards.
• Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community.
• Prepare and process resident service requests.
• Create newsletters, flyers, and assist with community events and activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as assigned.
• Interact positively with residents to maintain satisfaction.
• Demonstrate professionalism and integrity as a community representative.
• Comply with Fair Housing rules and OSHA standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
