Job summary

Oldcastle APG, part of CRH, is hiring for Equipment and Machine Operators at our Georgia Masonry Supply facility. You will operate plant machinery, follow safety policies, and help maintain production quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include reading job specs, setting stops, inspecting for defects, performing routine maintenance, and assisting teammates to meet deadlines. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; lift up to 50 lbs and flexible schedule offered.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product.
• Make sure all housekeeping is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion in assigned area.
