Qualifications

• Read safety rules and operating instructions to determine machine adjustments, and maintain accuracy in tasks.
• Be a self-starter and work independently.
• Able to stand for multiple hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale or templates
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance to meet quality requirements
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Assist other operators to set up machines and other tasks to meet deadlines
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area
• Other duties as assigned as needed
