Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is hiring an operator to run plant machinery and adhere to safety policies while producing high-quality precast concrete products. The role supports continuous manufacturing with attention to maintenance and housekeeping.

Ideal candidates will read specifications, perform measurements, and use MS Office for documentation. Lifting up to 50 lbs and flexible scheduling are required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions.
• Basic math skills for measurements and adjustments.
• Experience with MS Office preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates.
• Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
• Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance and ensure quality requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Assist other operators to set up machines and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and housekeeping.
• Other duties as needed.
