Job summary

Cogent Biosciences is seeking a Precision Medicine Executive to drive regional diagnostics leadership and thought leadership as we prepare for a first product launch. This role embeds within the Customer Engagement Team and collaborates with Marketing, Medical, Analytics, and Legal to execute a cross-functional strategy across the United States.

The PME will build relationships with healthcare systems and KOLs, enable access post-FDA approval, and ensure the field and headquarters follow aligned

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical roles with market knowledge.
• 5+ years in specialty and/or rare disease settings (Hematology/Oncology preferred).
• Proven ability to engage C/D-Suite customers and navigate complex accounts.
• Experience launching products and working in large accounts or hospitals.
• Pharma/biotech startup and diagnostic/precision medicine exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align strategies with stakeholders to advance business objectives.
• Engage external HCPs at key systems and labs for post-approval access.
• Identify, profile, and nurture long-term KOL relationships.
• Plan and execute KOL engagements at conferences and field visits.
• Identify novel programming and investment opportunities.
• Foster an environment prioritizing patient, caregiver, and HCP experience.
• Differentiate Cogent through consistent value delivery in target systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute business plans and CRM maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory and legal compliance in daily activities.
