Cogent Biosciences seeks a Precision Medicine Executive to embed the company in major U.S. healthcare systems.

This hybrid role acts as a Regional Diagnostic Expert and Thought Leader Liaison, managing KOL relationships and regional initiatives within the Precision Medicine organization. Responsibilities include collaborating with HQ and field teams, shaping educational platforms for brand strategies, and driving cross-functional alignment to support Cogent’s launch readiness and commercial

Qualifications

• BA/BS or healthcare equivalent degree required; strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace.
• Minimum 8+ years in pharma/biotech with rare disease or hematology/oncology experience preferred.
• Proven ability to access and influence C/D-Suite level customers; matrixed environment savvy.
• Prior product launch experience and ability to navigate large accounts and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cogent stakeholders to align strategies and drive execution.
• Engage external HCPs at healthcare systems and labs for access to Cogent treatments post-FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs.
• Plan and execute KOL engagements and executive encounters at conferences and field events.
• Develop programs and venues to advance business objectives; embed in target systems.
• Maintain CRM account data and ensure budgets/schedules meet corporate requirements.
• Ensure regulatory and legal compliance in daily activities.
