Job summary

Cogent Biosciences in Waltham, MA seeks a Precision Medicine Executive to drive field engagement as we prepare for our first product launch. The PME will embed within major healthcare systems and act as a hybrid Regional Diagnostic Expert and Thought Leader Liaison.

You will build KOL networks, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliant, data-driven strategies across Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and Analytics to deliver value for patients.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or healthcare equivalent degree required.
• Minimum 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical experience with strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace.
• Minimum 5+ years in specialty and/or rare disease (Hematology/Oncology preferred).
• Proven ability to access and influence C/D-Suite level customers.
• Experience launching products and working in large accounts or hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Work with Cogent stakeholders to align strategies and tactics for business objectives.
• Engage external healthcare systems and labs to ensure access to Cogent treatments post-FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs.
• Plan/execute KOL engagements at conferences and other venues in a compliant manner.
• Develop and maintain account/contact details within CRM; manage budgets and schedules; ensure regulatory and legal compliance.
