Cogent Biosciences is seeking a Precision Medicine Executive (PME) to embed within leading U.S. healthcare systems as a hybrid Regional Diagnostic Expert and Thought Leader Liaison.

You will manage KOLs, build educational platforms, and support cross-functional teams across Marketing, Medical, Analytics, and Legal to enable a successful product launch. You will collaborate with national and regional KOLs, regional teams, and field colleagues to drive strategy, access, and execution while

Qualifications

• BA/BS or healthcare equivalent degree required.
• 8+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech, and/or medical experience with strong marketplace knowledge.
• 5+ years combined experience in specialty and/or rare disease (Hematology/Oncology preferred).
• Proven ability to access and influence C/D‑suite level customers.
• Collaborative and organizationally savvy team player in a matrixed setting.
• Strong negotiation, partnering, and influencing skills; manage external partnerships.
• Prior experience in large accounts/hospitals; navigate complex environments to advance objectives.
• Successful product launch experience; prior pharma/biotech startup and diagnostic/precision medicine experience preferred.
• Technologically savvy; leverage data/analytics daily to drive results.
• Ability to travel frequently (overnight).

Responsibilities

• Work with Cogent stakeholders to align strategies and execute key tactics.
• Engage external HCP stakeholders at major systems/labs across the US for post-FDA access.
• Identify, profile, cultivate and maintain long-term KOL relationships.
• Plan and execute KOL engagements at conferences and field events in a compliant manner.
• Identify novel programming and venues where Cogent should invest to advance objectives.
• Foster patient, caregiver, and HCP customer experiences across channels.
• Differentiate Cogent’s value in target systems and ensure launch readiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute business plans and support field colleagues.
