Job summary

Cogent Biosciences seeks a Precision Medicine Executive (PME) to join the Customer Engagement Team as we prepare for our first product launch. The PME will serve as a hybrid Regional Diagnostic Expert and Thought Leader Liaison, embedding Cogent within influential U.S.

healthcare systems and managing KOL relationships. The PME will collaborate with national and regional KOLs and cross-functional teams across Marketing, Medical, Analytics, and Commercial Operations to advance Cogent’s precision

Qualifications

• 8+ years in pharma/biotech with industry knowledge.
• 5+ years combined experience in specialty and/or rare disease.
• Proven ability to access and influence C/D-Suite customers.
• Collaborative and organizationally savvy team player in a matrixed setting.
• Successful product launch experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Cogent stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and execution of key strategies to advance objectives.
• Partner with external HCP stakeholders at key systems/Labs across the US to ensure access to Cogent treatments post-FDA approval.
• Identify, profile, cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs.
• Plan and execute KOL engagements and executive encounters at conferences; POAs; field visits; and other compliant venues.
• Identify and prioritize novel programming and venues for Cogent investment to advance objectives.
• Develop and foster an environment prioritizing patient, caregiver, and HCP experience.
• Become embedded in target healthcare systems by differentiating through delivering value.
• Adapt to launch prep needs and support both corporate and field colleagues in a dynamic market.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to execute business plans as part of Customer Engagement.
• Develop and maintain all account/contact details within CRM.
• Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
• Incorporate regulatory and legal compliance into daily activities and business practices.
