Cogent Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a senior executive to lead Precision Medicine Executives (PME) as part of the Customer Engagement Leadership Team. The role will build Cogent’s Precision Medicine Executive organization in preparation for our first product launch, supervising a PME team embedded across major U.S.

healthcare systems. The E.D. Precision Medicine Executives will hire, coach, and develop the PME team, collaborating with commercial and medical stakeholders to advance strategic

Qualifications

• 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech and/or medical experience.
• 10+ years leading specialty and/or rare-disease managers or representatives.
• Proven ability to develop and execute a department-level operating plan and budget.
• Successful product launch experience in pharma/biotech.
• Experience across commercial disciplines (sales, marketing, market access, operations).
• Travel readiness for frequent overnight travel.”

Responsibilities

• Develop operating plan and budget for Cogent’s Precision Medicine department.
• Hire, coach, and develop the PME team prior to FDA approval.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies and drive execution.
• Partner with external healthcare providers to ensure access post-FDA approval.
• Foster an environment prioritizing patient, caregiver, and HCP experiences.
• Ensure PME team complies with regulatory and legal requirements.
