Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Cutter with strong cutting skills and high attention to quality. You will cut, prepare, and merchandize meat products while maintaining food safety standards and exceptional customer service.

Training through our butcher program is provided and mentorship is required for trainees. Applicants should have 14+ months of retail experience and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Completion of WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises meat products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (sausage, oven-ready, cured meats).
• Checks product quality against WFM standards.
• Maintains sampling program and monitors spoilage.
• Mentors Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Delivers courteous, efficient service and supports sales through suggestive selling.
