Whole Foods Market is seeking a Meat Cutter to handle cutting, preparation, display, and selling of meat products. The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to health and safety standards, and supporting store initiatives.

You will mentor trainees and ensure high quality and accurate signage and pricing. Responsibilities include trimming, packaging, and merchandising while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient workstation.

Formación

• 14+ months retail experience.
• Completed WFM Butcher Apprentice Program or equivalent training.
• UK exceptions may apply.

Responsabilidades

• Cuts, platters, and merchandises products (beef, pork, lamb, veal, poultry).
• Prepares specialty meat merchandise (i.e. sausage, oven ready products, and cured meats).
• Checks product to make sure it meets WFM quality standards.
• Maintains sampling program and monitors spoilage.
• Mentors and supports Meat Cutter Trainee(s).
• Provides excellent customer service and adheres to safety standards.
