Save-A-Lot is seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team in Florida. The role involves trimming and preparing standard cuts, ensuring quality, and maintaining displays to maximize sales. You will follow company policies and safety standards while delivering excellent customer service to shoppers.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or equivalent and complete Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training within 3 months. Prior experience with meat cutting and equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training Program within 3 months.
• Experience cutting meat with hand tools and power equipment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and packages authorized beef, pork and poultry items according to policy.
• Wraps, weighs and prices cuts of meat.
• Labels packages according to COOL, USDA and Save-A-Lot standards.
• Maintains displays and case signs, merchandising to maximize sales.
• Receives, inspects and stores meat to maintain cold chain and quality.
• Follows all Save-A-Lot policies including sanitation and meat cutting procedures.
