Requirements include 18+ years old, a High School diploma or equivalent, completion of Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training within 3 months, and experience with knives and power equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Save-A-Lot Meat Cutter Training Program within 3 months.
• Experience cutting meat with hand tools and power equipment, such as knives, slicers, grinders.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Dependable and flexible; adhere to uniform dress code.

Responsabilités

• Cut and package authorized beef, pork and poultry per Save-A-Lot policies.
• Wrap, weigh and price cuts; label per COOL, USDA, and Save-A-Lot standards.
• Update displays and case signs; merchandise to maximize sales; may assist with ordering.
• Maintain proper date rotation for products in display and storage.
• Prepare meat cuts for display to look attractive to customers.
• Receive, inspect, and store meat to maintain cold chain and quality.
• Follow all SAVE-A-LOT policies including sanitation and meat cutting lists.
