AMMEGA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, machine repair, and facility upkeep in a 2nd shift (Afternoon) on-site in Franklin Park, IL. You will diagnose equipment issues, read blueprints and manuals, and perform wiring and component installations as needed.

The role requires reading measuring devices, working with hand and power tools, and collaborating with supervisors and teammates to ensure smooth operations.

Competenze

• Certificate or credential in a specialized field or trade (electrical, mechanical, welding, etc.) or demonstrates competency in a specialized area.
• Experience with CMMS preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required plus technical/trade school or equivalent combination of work experience.
• Prior manufacturing work experience operating machinery and using hand tools.
• Must read and interpret measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, scales, meters).

Mansioni

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools and reassemble equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and building systems running smoothly.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters; follow checklists and worksheets.
• Use tools from hammers to electrical testing devices as needed for maintenance.
• Assemble, install or repair wiring, plumbing, machinery and equipment as required.
• Diagnose mechanical problems by consulting blueprints, repair manuals and catalogs.
