Electrical Automation Services in Carol Stream, IL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment on a 2nd shift. The role includes diagnosing leaks, repairing pumps and conveyors, and supporting electrical technicians on complex tasks.

The position requires at least 2 years of industrial mechanical experience, a high school diploma or GED, and willingness to work overtime including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Industrial mechanical experience of 2+ years is expected.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment as part of a maintenance team.
• Identify and repair air, water, glue, oil, and steam leaks.
• Maintain chain drives, sprockets, and belt systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps and pump systems.
• Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read schematics and mechanical prints to diagnose issues.
• Set up rigging for roll changes and larger repairs.
• Perform mechanical preventive maintenance as needed.
• Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Work overtime and weekends as required.
