Exegistics in Indianapolis is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will work under the Engineering Manager to support safety, predictive maintenance, and reliability initiatives.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, PLC familiarity, and experience with CMMS documentation. Expect a full-time, hourly, non-exempt schedule with daytime/evening coverage depending on

• Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of industrial systems.
• Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC experience and HVAC.
• Basic machining operations with safe use of machinist tools.
• Welding tasks as required for repair.
• Ethical conduct, safety standards, and accurate documentation.
• Strong communication with operators, peers, and leadership; CMMS literacy.
• Results-driven with urgency in responding to issues.
• Self-motivated to learn new systems and equipment.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsabilidades

• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns.
• Install, maintain, and repair production and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs and document work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Read ladder logic and perform basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Maintain CMMS records and assist in CMMS workflow improvements.
• Perform facility maintenance tasks as needed (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Oversee external service vendors during repairs.
• Communicate equipment status and recommended actions with teams.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized work areas.
